The 5 eye shoe was one of a handful of shoe designs that were utilized by Officers of the US Army and Navy during WWII. Due to its simplistic and functional design the 5 eye was popular among deck crew while the two eye version was favoured by pilots due to being very easy to do up and take off quickly.
The HR recreation is lovingly crafted by hand in England with a genuine Goodyear leather welt, beautiful rust suede upper with leather lining and lightweight Vibram Christy sole. They are traditionally formed on vintage lasts for ultimate authenticity and outstanding quality.
